- 10 Runners
- Surface: Turf
C&D winner finished a close second in a 3m handicap chase at Bangor (soft) in October but has struggled in two subsequent starts including when 37L fifth over this C&D last month. Cheekpieces tried for the first time on this occasion.
Ran well when finishing 2L third over this trip at Chepstow (soft) in early November. Disappointing when pulled up at Hereford (3m1f, soft) later that month and is interesting if putting that latest effort behind him.
Winner of three races over fences most recently at Hereford (3m1f, soft) in November 2018. Races off a 2lb lower mark here but has disappointed on both starts this season including when pulled up over this C&D last time out.
Point-to-point winner ran well when finishing 8½L third in a novices' handicap event over 2m7f at Taunton (soft) on chase debut last time out. Interesting racing off the same mark in this event.
15 race maiden pulled up in a 3m1f handicap chase at Hereford (heavy) a week ago on her most recent start. Previously 24L fourth over 2m4f on good ground here in November and has a top jockey in the saddle for this event.
19 race maiden was beaten 42L when finishign fourth of five in a novices' handicap chase over 3m at Uttoxeter (heavy) on his return to fences last month. Probably best watched at present.
Sole victory in 19 starts came in a good ground renewal of this race 12 months ago. Races off the same mark here and is of interest having finished 12L fourth over this C&D last time out.
Finished runner-up on all three starts since returning from a break including when beaten 15L in a mares handicap chase at Fakenham (2m5f, good-to-soft) earlier this month. Notable runner with the step up in distance no issue.
Fair 12½L sixth in a 2m handicap chase at Leicester (soft) last time out. Only previous victory came here but has to prove his stamina in this contest.
14 race maiden finished a good second at Bangor (soft) over an extended 2m4f on seasonal debut in October. Failed to build on that in two subsequent starts and he is probably best watched racing from out of the handicap.
