Useful hurdler last season, but didn't manage to take any of his opportunities, despite good form. Pulled up after a bad mistake on chase debut when upped to around 3m at Chepstow, but back on track over 2m at Hereford latest. Contender.
Completed hurdle hat-trick in the spring, all at around 2m and on good, good to soft and soft ground. Was not far off that form on his return from a break at Doncaster last month. Brother to two chase winners and can't rule out competitive debut.
Romped away with Ffos Las handicap hurdle 11-months ago (2m, good to soft), when 11lb lower and just failed to concede 7lb for Shanroe Tic Tec at Sandown next time. 10lb better off with him here and this is a workable mark for belated chase debut.
Novice hurdle winner at Hereford (2m, good) last season. Inconsistent after that, but put up a creditable effort to be second on his chase debut at Southwell (1m7½f, soft) last month. Needs improvement to defy same mark, but can't rule that out.
Shaped as if a chase win wasn't far away with two good runs at Bangor over 2m4½f last spring. Hasn't yet bettered that in two runs since a wind operation and was a long way behind Saint De Vassy when dropped back to this trip at Hereford last time.
Has shown promise over hurdles, but yet to reach the level of form of several in this field in that discipline. In good hands, and may be able to show improvement now going chasing, but initial mark stiff enough and may need further.
Showed some initial promise over hurdles, but handicapper looks to have been asking too much of him since switching to handicaps. Sliding in the weights, but still plenty to prove on his chase debut.
Arrives in good form, having won over C&D last time, equalling a career-best success at Plumpton (2m4½f, soft) on his chase debut in October. Unexposed. Up 3lb in a better race here, so will need to find more, but can't rule that out.
12-race maiden who has posted a couple of respectable efforts here over further on his last two starts. Should be better suited by return to handicap company here, but the drop back to this trip does not look ideal.
Largely modest form over hurdles and continued that when well held on his chase debut at Warwick last month. Drops 4lb and tongue-tie goes on, but plenty to prove.
