Remains on same mark he won from at Carlisle in May but slightly out of sorts on the AW so far, including weakening fifth at Southwell (7f) three days ago. Others may be in better form.
Lightly-raced sort who has won over C&D in September. Generally held form well since, including good fourth in C&D handicap in mid-December. On the shortlist and must be respected.
Winner over 1m for Joseph O'Brien but posting some poor efforts for this yard. Latest eighth of nine in Wolverhampton handicap (7f) on Boxing Day means he has plenty to find.
12 runs since last win came in 2017 and made poor start to life for this tears when 11th of 14 in 1m handicap here last month. Offers limited appeal on that evidence.
Formerly classy sort and C&D winner in October. Awkward start seemingly cost chances when sixth over C&D last time out and can be forgiven for that. Claims if breaking well.
C&D winner but 17 runs since last win came in 2019. Outran his odds however on first start for this yard when 33/1 second at Southwell (1m) in late December. Interesting from a good mark.
C&D winner in September but slightly inconsistent since yet was nearest the finish when fifth of 14 over 1m here last month. Just 1lb above last winning mark so expected to be in the mix.
Loves it at this track (three wins over C&D in the past) and ran yet another creditable race when third over C&D over a month ago. Had to switch that day so run may be better than first thought of.
The least exposed in the field, placing twice on the turf before creditable fifth at Redcar (7f) in July. Not seen since however and makes AW debut. Best watched at present but one to keep in mind for future.
Last Year's Winner
Fortamour (5/2), Insurplus (5/1), Howzer Black (6/1), Chosen World (7/1), Kentuckyconnection (7/1), Elixsoft (8/1), Kind Review (10/1), The Game Of Life (14/1), Dutch Pursuit (20/1), Reaver (25/1)
