Was successful for the first time over fences on his latest start at Wincanton (3m1f). The gelding was much better for stepping up in his trip on his most recent outing. Has gone up 6lb in the weights. Can't discount from further success.
Has been in great form this season so far with three consecutive victories going into this race. His latest success was by a margin of victory of 26L at Ayr (3m). The handicapper has raised him 6lb but he remains a big player.
Has been running consistently well recently without success though, including when he was second of six at Hexham (3m), beaten by just ½L, three runs ago. Blinkers are on for the first time. Set for opening run for his new yard. One to consider.
Scored over hurdles at Wetherby (3m) two runs ago in an eight runner field. Could only finish fifth of seven at Aintree (2m4f) last time on his return to fences. Has been eased 2lb. Others are preferred.
A winner over hurdles but is still looking for his first success over fences following 10 attempts. His form recently has been disappointing, including when he was last of three runners at Perth (3m). Must still be respected off this latest mark.
