39-7OR: 83D

Drops in grade after contesting a typically competitive Sandown (1m; good to firm) handicap. Won on soft the time before that in a higher class event which brings her into this. Only had the three handicap starts, so likely has plenty more to offer.

Failed to fire when sent off 6-1f for a competitive handicap at the Gold Cup meeting at Ayr (7f; good). This is slightly easier, and she did win at Musselburgh (7f; good to soft) before that. However, does need to bounce back.

Only had the three starts this season, but she needs to do plenty more. Not yet fully exposed but she was tailed off at Newmarket (1m; good to firm) when last seen in August. Major revival required.

Found the step up to Class 3 company beyond her when she was well-beaten into third. Now reverts to slightly calmer waters, but is still 7lb above her last winning mark. Two subsequent runs since then would suggest her turn isn't near.

Made the perfect start to life in handicaps when successful on AW debut at Newcastle (7f; standard). 3lb rise not excessive, and she holds Beauty Of Deira on the form of their Thirsk meeting. Should make bold bid to follow up for in-form yard.

Slight backwards step last time when fifth at Thirsk (1m; good to soft) where Critical Time finished in front of her. Opening mark of 76 is fair, and she has plenty of potential in this sphere.

Won over C&D in August and posted a solid effort over C&D when runner-up in this grade last week. Place claims again off the same mark, but only that as she is vulnerable to improving types.

Got her 2019 year off to an excellent start, but 9lb rise for winning first time out has since proved to be beyond her. Mark has since been tumbling down, and there were more positive signs at Lingfield (1m; standard) recently.

Last Year's Winner

Last year's winner is unavailable

Critical Time (5/2), Beauty Of Deira (4/1), I'lletyougonow (5/1), Maggies Angel (6/1), Saikung (7/1), Be More (8/1), Here's Two (14/1), Aussie View (14/1)

As she drops in class after finding the demands of a red-hot handicap at Sandown too much, Be More is greatly respected. She is only 1lb above her last winning mark and has only had the three starts in handicaps, so is unlikely to have stopped progressing yet. However, she must concede weight to all her rivals and therefore for win purposes this looks to concern CRITICAL TIME & Beauty Of Deira. This pair met at Thirsk back in August where the former finished six-length in front of the latter, and the William Haggas trained colt is expected to confirm those placings after making a winning handicap debut at Newcastle. The latter still has a lot of potential in this sphere.
