Bagged a Pontefract Listed contest in July and not disgraced since, including 2L defeat in 1m2f Doonside Cup last time. Races with a penalty here though against some classy rivals.

Winner of York handicap (7f) in May and not out of the places since. Latest head defeat in 7f handicap at that venue in August merits solid each-way claims.

Listed winner in the past and fine second in Royal Hunt cup earlier this season. Out of form since and needs to bounce back from eighth in 7f York handicap.

Failed to win this term but put up best effort yet when 3L fifth in 7f Doncaster Group 3 earlier this month. Drop in class may help but a bit more needed now.

French raider. Sole win came in Longchamp three-year-old contest last year but put up career best with second in 1m Listed contest at that venue last time out. Interesting contender and betting should guide.

Notched a Listed contest at Saint Cloud last year but out of sorts since, including 10L last of 10 in 1m Listed race at Deauville last time. Others make more appeal.

Looked a top prospect when winning Listed Pretty Polly Stakes at this track in May, but failed to stay in the Oaks before distant eighth in the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. Has the ability to bounce back though.

Won a good juvenile handicap on this card last year but hasn't won since. Put up best effort since when narrow third in 7f York handicap, beating some of today's rivals, and could be an improving sort.

Record stands at three wins from four starts, including narrow victory in 7f fillies' handicap at Chelmsford earlier this month. Unexposed type who will need to find more in this company.

Windsor novice winner earlier in the season and took a step back in the right direction with third in 1m fillies' handicap at Lingfield last time. That was a weak are though and plenty more required in this company.

Notched two wins in a row during the summer before posting career best when close fourth in 7f Doncaster Group 3 last time out. May just have clicked into gear and has place claims again.

Highly tried filly whose sole win came in C&D maiden last year. Shaped well in 1m Sandown Group 3 two starts ago before distant 13th at Yarmouth (1m2f) last time. Probably not up to this level.

Good winner on the July course earlier in the summer and bettered that when landing Ascot handicap (1m) earlier this month. Progressive sort who could have more to come.

Forecast

Maqsad (9/4), Chaleur (9/2), She's Got You (13/2), Richmond Avenue (13/2), Clon Coulis (8/1), Agincourt (12/1), Posted (14/1), Foxtrot Lady (16/1), Lady Lawyer (16/1), Exhort (33/1), Sh Boom (33/1), Shepherd Market (40/1), Lady Madison (66/1)

Verdict

A deep Listed contest, preference is for MAQSAD who aims to bounce back from her recent defeats. They were at the top level however and given the manner of her victory here in May, she could still be a good prospect in time and has a good opportunity to get back on the winning trail. Her main danger could come from the progressive She's Got You, who showed all the hallmarks of being a group performer in waiting last time while the likes of Chaleur and Agincourt are closely matched on their form and may have another step up in them.
  1. Maqsad
  2. She's Got You
  3. Chaleur
