Proved a bargain buy at £7,000 at two when building on a promising debut at Newbury with a stylish win at Newcastle in a good time. Interesting contender but nine-month absence is a concern.
Nicely bred Shadwell stud runner was slow to start but kept on well for fourth of 10 on the Rowley Mile back in May. Champion trainer has a 33 per cent strike rate with AW three-year-olds and now gelded this another highly respected sort.
Paco Boy gelding, not the most obvious contender on paper. Was withdrawn from a race at Windsor back in June after getting upset in the stalls so hopefully that bad experience now forgotten.
Not really seen enough to fancy this son of Mastercraftsman with fifth of 10 at Newmarket (Albadr fourth) and remote 10th of 12 at Windsor bother over 1m2f. Step back to 1m on pedigree is a negative.
€140,000 yearling, sold privately as a juvenile for €130,000 looked the sort to appreciate an extra 1f and improve for the outing when a slow starting sixth of seven on debut at Newcastle over 7f. Each-way hopes especially with Murphy aboard.
Mayson gelding, well held on debut last month on the AW at Wolverhampton over 1m1½f, though he ran very wide on the home bend. Showed some ability in coming home well, more to offer now.
10L fourth of seven on last month's Newmarket debut (1m) improved upon when the filly finished a respectable third at Thirsk (1m) (front two pulled clear). Latest effort gives her each-way claims here.
Invincible Spirit filly who cost 200,000gns as a yearling made a highly promising debut when a fast-finishing second over 1m at Newmarket to an 88-rated filly who has won since. Second again over same C&D 18 days ago and form best on offer here.
Finished last on only racecourse bow at Newbury last month and her subsequent seventh of eight at Lingfield further evidence she's best watched here.
Only beaten one rival in her two combined turf races so best watched with a view to low-grade handicaps.
