Still a maiden after eight career starts but has generally been running with credit in handicap company. Latest 2L fifth in 1m handicap here suggests this trip could bring out the optimum in him. Shortlisted.
Took advantage of a tumbling handicap mark when winning 7f Thirsk handicap in good style last time. 4lb hike suggests handicapper is taking no chances but merits respect.
Has been consistent since switching yards in March, gaining victory at Carlisle (7f) in June and was narrowly denied over C&D on latest start. Still on a workable mark and he could go well again.
Seven-race maiden. Failed to land any telling blows in handicap company to date and 6L sixth in 1m Musselburgh handicap suggests improvement is required to be competitive.
Irish raider. Has taken form to a moderate level in last two starts at Hamilton, including 3L fifth in 1m handicap last month. Runs off the same mark in this and has solid place claims.
On a long losing run and looks to be out of form at the moment. Recent 10th in 7f Beverley handicap leaves a bit to be desired despite being well-handicapped.
Inconsistent sort but produced one of his better performances last time out when narrow fourth over C&D last month. Each-way claims if repeating that effort.
C&D winner in June 2017 but has been horribly out of form since that victory. Latest fifth at this track was a step back in the right direction but offers limited appeal.
Still a maiden after ten starts and has been tailed off in both starts this season, including over 1m2f here last time. Dropped sufficiently in trip but others readily preferred.
Got off to the perfect start on his first try in British handicap company when winning extended 1m handicap at Hamilton at the start of July. Remains on a dangerously low mark and receives weight all round. Leading contender.
