Well held in three starts since joining this stable including in claiming company at Redcar (7f, good-to-soft) last month. Others make more appeal.

12 race maiden finished well beaten off a mark of 45 in a 7f AW handicap at Newcastle in February. Probably best watched on return from a break.

Placed in a novice race over 7f at Newcastle in November 2017 but missed the whole of last year and beaten a total of 44L in two starts earlier this season. Hard to recommend on return to from a break.

Unraced gelded son of Cityscape was sold for £10,000 as a yearling in 2017. Market support would be notable on first racecourse appearance.

Forecast

Sorbonne (11/8), Mid Atlantic Storm (15/8), Raksha (11/2), Oblate (15/2), Strawberryandcream (20/1), Nutopia (20/1), Itsupforgrabsnow (50/1), Mithayel Style (66/1)

Verdict

MID ATLANTIC STORM showed good form in a better race at Limerick last time out and he is taken to break his maiden in this 7f contest. The drop in trip shouldn't inconvenience the selection and he can see off his rivals here with Raksha, placed in a maiden earlier this season capable of claiming second ahead of Oblate who is dropping back in trip.
  1. Mid Atlantic Storm
  2. Raksha
  3. Oblate
