Was only low-grade on the Flat and has been well beaten in two hurdles starts. Plenty to find with the principals here and can only be watched.

Not the worst debut for his new yard when beaten 10l at Bangor last month, and point-to-point form suggests he might handle this ground. May want further but this isn't strong, and he can't be discounted.

Winner at Fakenham in March but was a beaten favourite again at Market Rasen last time, hard to find an excuse for that (had his own way in front) and isn't progressing. Clear chance again on form but is beatable.

First start for this yard, who have great success with these French imports, not seen out since September (although did take part in a charity race recently) so needs to prove fitness, but looks one of the main protagonists.

Did spring a 25-1 surprise on Southwell 's Fibresand last December but the rest of his form is nowhere near that standard, and although his hurdles debut at Huntingdon wasn't a write-off, he's plenty on here.

No more than glimmers of ability in four starts, three bumpers and a maiden hurdle, and although she's likely to do better at some point, this simply looks too hard.

Forecast

Boltissime (11/10), Swaffham Bulbeck (11/8), Iconic Hero (6/1), Handsome Bob (25/1), Caracas (33/1), Misu Bula (66/1)

Verdict

Swaffham Bulbeck is the one to beat on form, but he's not exactly setting the world alight and the way he was brushed aside at Market Rasen after looking in control for most of the contest is a worry. Boltissime looks the obvious alternative on his first start for Richard Newland but maybe ICONIC HERO can cause a small upset. It wasn't a bad first effort at Bangor for the Skelton team and perhaps this slower ground will help his cause. He wouldn't need to improve that much to get in the shake-up.
