High-class performer whose best efforts have come with plenty of give underfoot; had a stiff test when well held in a Group 2 at Sandown last month but should be better for the run. Sound claims if handling the ground.

Best efforts over 7f (won the 2017 Lennox Stakes at Goodwood being his finest hour) but a mile shouldn't be too much of an issue. Usually needs a run to put him straight though.

Had a busy campaign after he was a close second in this race last year; versatile regarding the ground and wasn't far behind Mitchum Swagger at Sandown last time. Weighted to get closer here.

Yard has a good record in this race and this progressive three-year-old would be dangerous to underestimate now he takes on his elders. Jockey booking could hardly be more positive and as he's unexposed at the trip there should be more to come.

Forecast

Bye Bye Hong Kong (8/11), Oh This Is Us (7/2), Mitchum Swagger (7/2), Breton Rock (14/1)

Verdict

A chance is taken on BYE BYE HONG KONG being another to benefit from the weight-for-age system and, having made a winning start when tried over a mile at Chelmsford last month, the Street Sense colt is worth following again (the booking of Sylvester De Sousa is a further boost). Mitchum Swagger is a tough campaigner and can uphold the recent form with Oh This Is Us if he copes with the ground. Breton Rock is respected but might just be in need of a blow out.
