Zoffany filly is a half-sister to multiple winners and took big steps in three starts back in 2017 when winning a maiden on her second start and a Listed second on her third. 574-day absence to overcome and market should show a lot.

Well-bred Teofilo filly who was an impressive winner on debut last year and an improved third in Listed class next time. Struggled in the same grade at Naas in October and now moves stable for return. More needed but that's not unlikely.

Galway maiden winner back in 2017 and highly-tried since, generally coming up short barring a fourth in the Listed Navigation Stakes at Cork in October. Held in handicap company on return and may find life tough again in this company.

Won back-to-back Group 3 races before a respectable seventh behind Alpha Centauri in Irish 1000 Guineas. Signed off with a second in Group 2 company and overcame a stumble to be narrowly denied in this class over 1m4f on return. May be hard to beat.

Galileo filly won a Cork handicap last season before a third in this class at Navan. Returned with a sixth in the Listed Salsabil Stakes over 1m2f weakening late and may have needed the run. Still open to progress and a contender.

Verdict

The front-running Credenza will be fitter for her reappearance and the slight drop in trip should help. Surrounding improved for the run when shaping as though she's worth a try at this trip. WHO'S STEPH is a Group class performer who clipped heels and stumbled early on her return so did well to go so close, she's suited by the drop back in trip and these conditions and her rivals will need to find significant progress if she produces her best.
