First Reserve: Modest 48-rated Flat handicapper who looks a long-term prospect related to useful Nicky Henderson Grade 3 winner Jenkins. Not disgraced on debut when sixth of 12 at Roscommon in August. More needed if making the line-up.

Verdict

The combination of Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh can take the opener here on useful French Flat recruit FOREROS. The four-year-old by Derby winner Authorized, could see stablemate, Mister Capitano emerge as the biggest danger, with the Soldier Hollow gelding also making his debut here. Potential improver, Cobaltic and Tashman from the Champion hurdle winning yard of Gavin Cromwell can battle for the minor honours.
