Trip and ground suit but needs to bounce back from disappointing effort latest when beaten favourite at Doncaster. Previous Cheltenham win gives him every chance of in similar mood.
Well beaten sixth in this race 12 months ago but was good fourth in Grand Annual at Cheltenham Festival last time and runs off same mark so has to enter calculations on that evdence.
2lb higher than last start when winning listed h'cap chase at Ascot in November. Comes here fresh and ran well to be fourth on this card two years ago in Scottish Champion Hurdle.
Only 10th in Grand Annual Chase last time when sent off favourite but won well previous start and remains unexposed as a chaser. Represents top yard and is very much respected.
Third in this race last year off 1lb higher mark and filled same position last time in hot h'cap chase at Leopardstown in February. Retains his form well and would not mind any rain that comes his way.
Decent chaser who steps up to this level for the first time after doing well over the last 12 months. This looks tougher though and he'll do well to make his presence felt where it matters most.
Won twice last autumn and not seen since finishing solid third at Aintree in November. Up 2lb but goes well fresh and is not without a chance.
Has had a great season winning four times and bounding up the ratings. 5lb higher than latest Newbury win but there may still be more to come and no reason he shouldn't run well for top yard.
Won nicely over C&D two starts back off 5lb lower mark and only just failed at Navan last time. Top trainer always worth noting and likley to attract market interest.
In fair form last term on Flat and over jumps in Ireland but hasn't progressed since joining current yard three starts ago. Returns from wind operation so is open to improvement but more is definitely needed.
Ex-Irish chaser who was seventh in this last year for previous connections. 7lb lower now and not disgraced when distant second over 2m4f at Kempton latest. One of the more likely outsiders.
Bidding for his fourth win in his last five starts and has moved swiftly up the ratings as a result. Won easily Musselburgh latest but 9lb higher now. Hard to rule him out though despite being 1lb out of the handicap.
