Newcomer by Mayson a half-brother to three winners from 6f-1m including smart sort Professor. Interesting pedigree but already gelded and yard not known for winning newcomers.

€15,000 son of Zebedee a half-brother to a 7f winner. Pedigree of some appeal but optimism boosted by excellent form of this stable so far from ruled out here.

By Coach House out of a Dubawi mare who cut little ice in bumpers. Likely to be one of the outsiders as he makes his first racecourse appearance.

Extremely highly tried in most recent of three starts with latest a last in Group Two company. Before that showed ability in Listed fourth of 12 and this a huge step down in class so providing she's ready after a layoff will be hard to beat.

Little to write home about so far in three starts. Eighth of 11 over C&D when last seen back in September and well short of the required based on that form.

Speedily bred Heeraat filly looked the sort to come on for her first run when seventh of eight on debut here as everything seemingly happened a little quickly. Could progress but huge step forward needed to be involved.

Two seconds and a third for this filly in three starts, all over 5f. Beaten less than a length in each so very much competitive and certainly rates a leading contender here.

Alicia Darcy (5/6), Harperelle (2/1), Evangeline Samos (12/1), Fortunate Move (14/1), Sandret (16/1), Sharrabang (25/1), Redesdale Rebel (33/1)

Verdict

ALICIA DARCY makes plenty of appeal here based on her Listed fourth in the summer. The biggest concern would be the lengthy absence coming into this but the majority of her main rivals have similar breaks to overcome so that worry is eased somewhat. Harperelle is the obvious danger having placed in all three starts to date with Sandret most appealing of the three newcomers.
