An average handicapper at his best on the level and only managed a solitary win on the AW from 15 starts on the Flat (just five of those were on turf). Was never a factor on his hurdles debut and is hard to recommend here.
Showed ability on the Flat (won over 7f at Ffos Las and latterly over 1m2f Epsom). Ran a solid race on hurdles debut at Catterick and likely to have learned a good deal (the winner was far from disgraced at Aintree on Saturday). Big chance here.
0-10 on the Flat and was regressive during his time with Henry Candy; never a factor behind Liva at Catterick on hurdles debut, so plenty to prove at present. Best watched.
Won over 1m2f on the Flat for his current yard and is sure to have been primed for his switch to the winter game. One to monitor in the betting but does need to up his game after losing his way on the level.
Ran too keenly on hurdles debut at Ayr last month and struggled to get home as a result. Likes plenty of give underfoot and her chances would increase if the heavens open. Worth a betting check if conditions turn in her favour.
Won a fillies only handicap over 1m2f at Ayr in September and being kept busy now she switches in codes. Likely she's better than she showed on her hurdles bow over C&D last month; another worth noting in the betting.
Last Year's Winner
