Likes to make all and arrives here in the form of his life. Up just 2lb after his latest win (Fakenham last time out) and should again make the rest aware of his presence. Solid claim once more.
Failed to cut the mustard during his time with Paul Nicholls but still managed to win over hurdles and mainly jumps well. Has lacked a change of gear when push comes to shove though and possible he needs a longer trip these days.
Likes this course and was ahead of Monsieur Co when they met here last month. His consistency is admirable but he lacks scope for improvement at his age and his limitations are plain to see.
Has found Civil Unrest a tough customer to deal with on a couple of occasions already and his recent form suggests he'll struggle to turn things around. Needs a lot to go his way.
Knows how to win when things fall into place for him but the gelding has been brushed aside in modest company lately and even a plunging handicap mark isn't enough to suggest he's capable of stopping the rot just now.
Last Year's Winner
Ontopoftheworld (6/4), Monsieur Co (5/2), Civil Unrest (7/2), Chain Of Beacons (6/1), Charlie Snow Angel (18/1)
