Useful sort, gained Listed win at Gowran Park last month making all the running. Perhaps found trip too far at Limerick since (faded to third) and appears to be stable second string on bookings.

Grade winner last term and chase home very talented Laurina at Fairyhouse in April in 2m4f Grade 1 contest. Pulled up here over 3m when last spotted. Trip fine now but lack of a run is a concern.

Easily put 7L between herself and stablemate Good Thyne Tara at Killarney in May, then ran well in French Grade 3 in June. Back from a break, gets nod from stable jockey and looks the one to beat.

Well held recently in a handicap at Ayr over extended three-miles, form that surely gives her plenty to find now.

Third at Galway in couple of recent outings, doesn't lack for experience but connections would likely be happy with a similar effort in this field.

Third runner from Willie Mullins' team, she hasn't been sighted since finishing third over 2m here in mares' novice contest in April 2016. Sports first-time hood after 933-day absence and market can guide, unexposed.
7

Odds-on winner of a maiden hurdle at Clonmel early this month, that was over 2m4f on good-ground and is taking on a tougher task this time.

Forecasts

Stormy Ireland (5/4), Good Thyne Tara (13/8), Ria D'Etel (8/1), Lackaneen Leader (11/1), The Princetonian (20/1), Morga (22/1), Kilbarry Way (25/1), Elusive Theatre (33/1)

Verdict

The champion trainer seemingly holds the ace-hand here with STORMY IRELAND and Good Thyne Tara. The former put daylight between herself and the re-opposing runner-up when they met at Killarney in May and, presumably, Ruby Walsh's decision to partner her means she's expected to confirm the form. Paul Townend's mount has won at Listed level already and cannot be overlooked. Their long-absent stablemate Ria D'etel is unexposed but surely will benefit from the run while the same can be levelled at Lackaneen Leader.
  1. Stormy Ireland
  2. Good Thyne Tara
  3. Lackaneen Leader
