Bids for a course hat-trick including winning over this distance last start. Up 5lb and in grade but won with plenty in hand and quickened as though he's nicely ahead of the handicapper.
Returned with a good third following a lengthy absence and subsequently sold out of Roger Varian's yard for 40,000gns. This is tougher but lightly-raced and open to improvement on stable debut.
