Has improved since returning from a break last month, winning nursery at Chester and Listed Harry Rosebery Stakes at Ayr on testing ground. Can start slowly, which is a concern, but respected in current mood.
Won a Sandown Listed event (5f, good) in May, and conceding weight to Dave Dexter when beaten narrowly by that rival at Ayr last month. Flopped at Redcar last week, but possible to forgive that effort in isolation, and should bounce back.
Made all to land a 7f novice at Yarmouth in August, and just denied when trying same tactics at Hamilton last time, when conceding weight to subsequent Group 3 winner East. That form looks better in retrospect, and he can go well.
Won by a wide margin at Epsom in June, but has struggled a little in pattern company since, and behind a couple of these when fourth in Listed race at Ayr on latest start. Wore blinkers there, and visor tried now.
Off for four months after a winning debut at Thirsk, but has improved further, and gained a second success at Ripon (6f) last time, grinding long-time leader down late. May well have more to offer, although does have a bit to find on bare form.
Has twice finished first past the post, but demoted for interference at Thirsk in August. Matched earlier form when third in Group 3 Sirenia Stakes at Kempton last time behind subsequent Mill Reef winner Kessaar, and should be competitive again.
Dual winner in first half of the year, but exposed as short of standard required at pattern level, and passed over despite a creditable effort in sales race at the Curragh last time.
Won at Bath and Ripon in April, but tough going in pattern races subsequently, and ran poorly behind Dave Dexter in Listed race at Ayr last month. Better than result in nursery at Chester last time, but easy enough to oppose on balance.
Needed experience on debut, and improved when winning 5f novice at Wolverhampton last time by a head from Blyton. Sure to do better, but this step up in class demands much more.
Winner of his first two starts in novice races, but found company a little too hot in the Gimcrack over C&D, and last, albeit not disgraced, in Middle Park Stakes last time. Blinkers replace a visor as he drops in class now.
