Winner of three of his nine starts on the AW the gelding is without a win in nine turf appearances on the Flat including a 116L defeat at the Galway festival earlier this month.
Still on a 3lb higher mark than his win in a Fairyhouse 1m4f handicap last month following a 5¼L defeat at Sligo last Wednesday and entitled to make the shortlist here.
Ended a near two-year wait when winning easily on heavy ground on seasonal debut over 1m1f at Leopardstown in April off a 6lb lower mark. Not beaten far recently and capable of making the frame.
Fifth of 20 in the mares handicap hurdle over 2m½f at the Galway festival earlier this month but winner of her last appearance on the Flat at Roscommon in May on debut. Second start on the level here and likely to run well once again.
C&D winner but generally well held in a series disappointing defeats since April. Lacks consistency and plenty more needed here.
