Three-times a winner here (twice C&D) he's unbeaten at this course and even at his advancing years still looks a smart sprinter when conditions are right. Seen to maximum effect last time and just scrapes into this race under top weight.
No stranger to winning around here especially over the minimum trip he's been highly tried on his last two starts on turf (better on AW). First handicap attempt of the year although he'll be 2lb higher than when last seen in this sphere.
The majority of his form last year suggested that he could handle himself in top-level sprint handicaps although he's not been seen much on the AW. This will be his seasonal debut so he might just lack some match sharpness of his rivals; useful sort.
Useful handicapper in 2016 winning four times and looks equally at home on the AW as on the turf but not seen since early 2017. Would have to be at the top of his game to land this and the chances are he'll need a run or two to put him right.
A four-time handicap winner last season and a C&D winner in the past he enjoyed perfect conditions to win on his penultimate start before running too free when last seen. Returns from a break now off a mark of 92; something to prove.
Twice a winner on the AW this year over 5f beating small fields his last run back on turf deserves plenty of credit. Poorly drawn at Epsom in the "Dash" he made a terrific fist of things only going down to two rivals who enjoyed the run of the race.
Lightly-raced sort who continued his upward surge last year signing off with a Catterick win over 5f on heavy ground. Hasn't lived up to his previous form in two runs this year but hard to write him off given his trainers prowess with this sort.
Should feel at home here with three C&D wins tucked away although they all came for his previous yard and he's still finding his feet for his current connections. Ran his best race for a while last time out over C&D off this mark.
Ran with credit here last time but that run came in a lower grade than he faces today although he remains on the same mark here. Poorly placed in that race this class may just be a little too much for him these days.
Dependable sort on this surface despite not having won here he has been placed in all three C&D runs. Likely to find this grade a little too hot for him though and has to run from 6lb out of the weights.
