Placed on all five starts now since joining this yard. A one-paced third at Newton Abbot last time over this trip. Dropped 2lbs and likely to run well but may be vulnerable for win purposes.

Only one win in 19 starts and hasn't really looked like adding to that tally of late. Mark is slowly sliding but percentage call is still to oppose him until showing more.

Hasn't won for 13 months, and despite being handicapped to do so once more, didn't look the most resolute once headed at Huntingdon latest (2m good), so that's probably a far bigger barrier to further success.

Badly out of sorts under both codes when last seen in January. been given a five month break to freshen up but best watched here unless the market speaks massively in his favour.

Showed a bit more two starts back before bitterly disappointing at Newton Abbot last time. Overall feeling is he will take advantage of this mark at some point but needs a sharp return to form for that to happen today

Only one win from 27 starts over hurdles and hasn't been seen since being well beaten at Clonmel seven months ago. This better ground should suit on first start for new yard and market check needed with cheekpieces added.

Beaten a long way on his last three starts over hurdles (including here). Dropped 3lb from his last run but much more needed to be involved at the business end here.

Best effort for a while when trying to win the same race he won back in 2017 at Newton Abbot last month. Another 2lbs lower but vulnerable to younger legs now at this level.

Ran well the last twice off a 1lb lower mark. Another one that may be vulnerable for win purposes but should run his race and likely to be in the shake up.

Has only been placed once in 10 starts over hurdles. Well beaten at Uttoxeter last month in s similar contest and hard to fancy on that evidence.

His win in a selling handicap hurdle last summer seems a distant dream based on his form so far this year. Readily opposed until showing much more.

Won a weak handicap at Bangor off a 7lb lower mark in April. Not been able to back that up the last twice and often shapes like he wants a bit further than this. On the plus side he's in good form, which means a lot in this lineup

Market check advised after he was backed two starts ago. Still going ok when saddle slipped last time so a line can be put through that. Market probably best guide to chances racing from out the handicap.

Largely out of form of late but does run the odd decent race. Out the weights here and likelihood is he will struggle.

Centreofexcellence (9/2), Elysian Prince (11/2), Iniesta (7/1), Dunn's River (7/1), Anton Dolin (17/2), Kalaskadesemilley (9/1), Rocket Ronnie (10/1), Ladies Dancing (12/1), Kilcaragh Boy (12/1), Aaryam (16/1), Tingo In The Tale (18/1), Whiskey John (33/1), Taste The Wine (40/1), Sackfullofdreams (50/1)

Verdict

This is about as weak as it gets in terms of solid recent efforts. Any kind of market support for Kilcaragh Boy on his first start for his new yard could be significant. This is likely to be fought out by those with the best recent form. That makes the shortlist Iniesta, Anton Dolin and CENTREOFEXCELLENCE. Preference is for the last named who's win at Bangor three starts back is the best piece of form on offer. The quicker they go the better for him too as he is sure to be strong in the finish.
