Pedigree makes plenty of appeal and her debut run was full of promise with inexperience getting the better of her in the end on the AW (Kempton) over 6f. She should know a lot more this time around and put her experience to good use.

Started to get the hang of things on her debut late on and looked an obvious improver although she failed to show much progress on her second run. Still looks as though she could prove better than her two runs so far though stepping up to 6f.

Trainer capable with juveniles and this Tamayuz filly is a sister to a smart juvenile winner in Sir Prancealot and a half-sister to several other winners. Dam also won as a two-year-old over sprint trips and any market support should be noted.

Yard always to be respected with their juveniles even on debut and this Mayson filly looks nicely bred. She's a half-sister to a 1m winner with the dam a winner at up to 7f as a juvenile.

Yard not really known for their juveniles but can have winners in this sphere. This one has a decent pedigree and she showed ability on her debut at Windsor (6f, good/firm); did run rather free though and needs to settle better to fulfil promise.

Yard ticking along with their two-year-olds this year with this Tamayuz filly making her debut here. Dam was only lightly raced and others are preferred on this occasion.

Verdict

An interesting opener with the newcomers all coming from yards that are capable with juveniles and on pedigree the pick would be Lady Mona for the Clive Cox team along with Parion for the Fahey team. CHALEUR has a pedigree that makes plenty of appeal also and her debut run showed that she has plenty of ability and it won’t be a surprise to see her make a big stride forward here. Lady Katy is one of the more experienced runners in the field and the know-how she has gained from those runs will be put to good use this time around.
  1. Chaleur
  2. Lady Mona
  3. Lady Katy
