Seven time winner but out of form in recent times and beaten 22L over an extended 2m1f on good ground here last time out. Worth a check in the market with the visor returning.

Fair sixth on return from a break at Southwell (good) in April but struggled at Stratford subsequently. Races off a mark 3lb lower than when winning at Fakenham (soft) in December.

Good second over an extended 2m4f at Huntingdon (soft) in March. Held twice over further subsequently and this slight drop in trip should see her in a better light.

Returned to form when finishing 7L second over C&D on good ground last month. Races off the same mark here and is one to consider with a visor added for the first time.

Forecast

Mr Fickle (9/4), Howlongisafoot (5/2), Versifier (11/2), Mamoo (7/1), Micquus (7/1), Sixties Idol (14/1), Swift Native (20/1), Hier Encore (25/1), Mr Mulliner (33/1)

Verdict

HOWLONGISAFOOT ran well here last time and he can go one better than when finishing runner-up that day by taking the opening contest on the card. Handicap debutant Swift Native showed a fair level of form in winning a point-to-point and can claim second on handicap debut while Versifier should appreciate the drop in trip having been beaten over further last time.
  1. Howlongisafoot
  2. Swift Native
  3. Versifier
