Would almost certinaly have made it two wins on the bounce but for unseating his rider two out at Market Rasen last time. Carries the penalty for winning at Southwell the time before but should be very hard to beat here.

Won an Irish point-to-point with ease on his last start in January. Starts life under rules for his new yard today having had a wind operation and wearing a tongue-tie. Interesting recruit to hurdles and a market check needed.

Had five starts now over hurdles and has been pulled-up on every single occasion. Impossible to recommend at this stage of his career. Cheekpieces added.

Struggled in all nine starts to date and failed to complete on each of his last five appearances. Others make more appeal.

Much better known as a fairly decent chaser and has never actually run over hurdles. All three runs so far in 2018 have been poor however and possibly running here to get a bit of confidence back. Conditions fine and a player at his best.

Taken fairly well to hurdling but yet to get his head in front. Beaten favourite the last twice including at Fontwell last time (2m1½f, good) when shaping like this step up in trip would suit. Bit to find with the principles all the same.

Off the mark in points at the sixth time of asking. Starts life under rules for a new yard today with the tongue-tie added. Looks to have plenty to find with a couple of these but market should be a good guide to expectations.

Forecast

Settie Hill (1/2), Play The Ace (4/1), Ringa Ding Ding (9/2), Ulysses (10/1), Ballydun Oscar (14/1), Asking A Lot (66/1), Keepyourheadup (300/1), Norse Da (300/1)

Verdict

Ringa Ding Ding remains with potential over hurdles and this step up in trip may help him. Ballydun Oscar is an interesting recruit from the point sphere and is respected. Play the Ace is a smart chaser on his day and could be a threat but his form has tailed off somewhat this year. SETTIE HILL looks to have found another good opportunity here having unseated his rider when sure to win last time.
