Victorious on heavy ground at Musselburgh (5f) at the end of march. Disappointed the last twice however and would probably prefer the ground softer than is forecast.

The Armed Man (9/2), Buccaneers Vault (11/2), Straightothepoint (7/1), Case Key (8/1), Lexington Times (8/1), Socialites Red (11/1), Melonade (11/1), Rose Marmara (12/1), Aleef (14/1), Laughton (16/1), Danish Duke (16/1), Kody Ridge (20/1), Casterbridge (25/1), Young Tiger (33/1), Kommander Kirkup (33/1), Jacob's Pillow (40/1), Meandmyshadow (50/1)

Verdict

THE ARMED MAN has run well on both starts this term and he can register his fourth win on turf by taking this competitive looking sprint. The selection finished a good fourth on good ground last time and can get the better of Straightothepoint who has acquitted himself well in making the frame on his two most recent starts. Rose Marmara a winner already this season and placed last time looks capable of recording another placed effort by taking third.
  1. The Armed Man
  2. Straightothepoint
  3. Rose Marmara
