17:30 Musselburgh Sat 9 June 2018
C&D winner on handicap debut/seasonal return in early May, well on top of Smugglers Creek at the finish; chance of a repeat off a 3lb higher mark if ignoring his latest run at Catterick.
Run to a similar consistent standard on both starts in 2018, finishing a couple of places in front of Sureyoutoldme at Catterick (7f) recently; capable of being on the premises from a mark just 2lb above his last winning one (7.5f).
Kept exclusively to sprint trips (5f to 6f) since January, and clearly isn't a frequent winner (1 from 27), but has shown his worth over 7f in the past; most notably at Ascot in July 2017 (third).
Made all and held on gamely when scoring by a short-head over C&D in October 2017 (soft), and also sports plenty of placed efforts on his 17-race CV; off since November 2017 and his trainer saddles two other runners.
Her losing sequence is beginning to accumulate (no win in 14 starts), with 50% of those races coming here at Musselburgh; falling in the weights and dropped in trip for a trainer who saddles three runners.
Course winner off a 4lb lower mark in August 2017 (1m good to firm), and generally has run to an equivalent standard since; including when beaten narrowly by Presidential at Carlisle (7f) on his penultimate start.
Not won since his racecourse debut in June 2016, but recorded some fair placed efforts over this trip last back-end, including when finishing third to Inglorious (C&D) in October and also very closely matched with Sureyoutoldme.
Still very well handicapped on his old form for this trainer despite being 10lb higher than when winning over C&D in early May (beat Rebel State by 2¼L). Twice a beaten favourite since (1m½f), but solid overall and the pick of the stable trio.
Veteran who is a winner of 13 of his 121 races, but absent since mid February faces a very difficult task from well out of the weights.
