Struggled at Meydan earlier in the year in Group2 company but on the whole she's solid performer at this level. Took a Brighton handicap off an 8lb lower mark last May and only just touched off in a Nottingham Listed contest; usually hooded.

Has a C&D second to her name in a maiden but has looked a more finished article this year winning two AW handicaps on her first couple of starts. Looked a little awkward when trying to make all at Doncaster off this mark; cheekpieces on first-time.

A York handicap winner last year off a 3lb lower mark his form this year has been rather in and out although he did run with credit last time dropped into a 0-85. All her best form has come with cut in the ground though and needs rain.

Looks the type who is a little hard to win with especially as she tends to need a pace to run at and that maybe hard to find here. Mark continues to fall and leaves her running from out of the handicap here.

Forecast

Extra Mile (1/1), Appointed (5/2), Singyoursong (4/1), Prying Pandora (7/1)

Verdict

Just the four runners go to post but it doesn’t make it an easy contest to decipher with Extra Mile showing some quirks last time and it’s easy to see why she dons the cheekpieces for the first time. Prying Pandora needs a pace to run at to be seen at her best but she faces a difficult task from out of the handicap and SINGYOURSONG your song is given the vote in a race that may be run to suit and she will find this task a lot easier. Appointed needs rain and she looks unlikely to get that at the moment.
  1. Singyoursong
  2. Extra Mile
  3. Prying Pandora
