Supplemented Southwell AW success with decisive Thirsk win (5f, good to firm) five days ago. Now two from two for this yard and potentially still on a good mark, strong chance.
Three similar efforts in maidens last year would suggest this could be a workable mark on handicap debut. Had a seven month break ahead of first start for new yard today. Market check needed.
Super servant to connections, with 16 wins in his 126-race career to date. Yet to register in five attempts over this C&D, but has gone close. Seems to do his best work at Wolverhampton these days.
C&D winner in February off a mark of 55 in an apprentice race, just 3lb higher returning here and with a useful claim on his back, cannot be factored out.
Got off the mark at the 12th time of asking for this trainer at Lingfield recently over the trip, having shown promising signs lately. Up 5lb here, may be enough to halt follow-up but should run well.
Winner over C&D in March off a 5lb lower mark, doing things with a minimum of fuss. Very in and out performer, as evidenced in four runs since. Not discounted from this mark on a going day.
Running consistently well of late without being able to get his head in front, which is not atypical for a horse with a 1-37 record so far. Should run to form again.
She's capable of scoring off this mark, as her two most recent wins have shown, but she has been a bit out of sorts in her three 2018 appearances.
Made it 39 career attempt without success at Bath (5½f, good to firm) last week, running quite poorly after some more encouraging efforts recently. 6lb wrong on these terms.
