POWERALLIED caught the eye when running very well in defeat during a quality handicap at Chester earlier in the month, and off just 2lb lower should be up to taking a race of this nature especially on ground which should suit. He is taken to see off recent Thirsk winner Tanasoq, who may have to settle for second carrying a penalty, while Elysian Flyer may struggle on the ground.
