A winner of three handicap chases between December 2016 and April 2017 on good ground, latest over 3m at Kempton in December off a mark of 113. Poor next time at Ludlow and doesn't have a great record fresh.
Four wins in 23 chase starts, though nothing since Warwick win over this trip in September 2016. Shaped a bit better last month at Market Rasen, may still need a bit of assistance from the handicapper before turn comes around again.
Hasn't won for 10 starts now dating back to October 2016, much better effort this month at Ludlow (3m, good) when just over 4L down in fourth of 11. Wouldn't need a big jump forward on that to have claims now.
Tailed off this month over 3m5f at Fakenham on good ground, decent form hard to come by since winning marathon contest at Taunton in April last year.
Great record at the track (four times a winner here) and finished second last week over C&D beaten just a half-length. Runs from same mark now and entitled to go well.
Disappointing since placing at Huntingdon (2m4f, good) over a year ago and poor in two recent runs, stamina for 3m remains a source of debate.
