0-14 on turf and two runs for this yard haven't been anything more than what he achieved previously for Tom Dascombe. Up to this trip for the first time.
Not the most consistent but holds claims on the basis of his placed effort at Newcaste two starts back, and though he has never won on fast ground he has finished second on a few of occasions.
Nowhere need his best in his two races so far this year, but they were both on heavy ground and he may be seen to better effect in less testing conditions.
In fine form recently and only narrowly denied a four-timer at Thirsk last time out. Now 9lb higher which is an obvious concern but could progress further and certainly can't be ruled out.
Slightly patchy AW form over 6f recently, but did win in claiming company at Lingfield in April, and has form off higher marks than this as well as on quick ground.
Seven race maiden, but ran fairly well at Thirsk last time (certainly an improvement on his seasonal return the time before), and drops in trip again here. His turn could be near.
Has beaten just two rivals home in three races so far this year, and impossible to fancy off the back of such lackluster performances.
Last Year's Winner
