Beaten 19L on stable debut at Pontefract on return and not much better at Thirsk on Saturday. Tough to build a case for.
Winner on handicap debut at Musselburgh last time out, and 3lb rise for that victory seems fair. Same trip here and is open to improvement.
Ran a solid race on seasonal return at Thirsk last time out, and drop back in trip here shouldn't be an issue as he won over this distance last year. Just 3lb higher in the weights now.

15lb lower than his last winning mark but hasn't been able to take advantage of that rating so far this year, including when down the field at Musselburgh last time out.
Though he hasn't yet been able to build on a handicap win at Musselburgh last August he's back down to 2lb above now and should enjoy the ground.
