- 1m 7f 168y, Good (Good to Firm in places)
- 13 Runners
- Surface: Turf
Successful under this rider at Taunton (good) over an extended 2m in January last year. Disappointing in the main since and races off a mark 2lb higher than for his latest success.
Finished runner-up over 2m at Hexham (good) in June last year but unraced since unseating at Stratford the following August. Probably best watched on return to action.
Winner of this race two years ago and registered his first victory over fences when winning at Worcester (good) recently. One to note racing off the same mark on his return to hurdling.
Placed twice over around 2m4f on good ground in the autumn but well held the last twice including in a first time visor (absent here) at Sedgefield (2m1f, good) in November. Returning from a break.
Followed up a Fontwell (good-to-firm) win over an extended 2m1f in August with a good third at Plumpton (2m, good) the following month. Worth a check in the market on his first start since finishing well beaten at Exeter in October.
15 race maiden under all codes and well beaten on all three starts since switching to handicaps last autumn. Others make more appeal on his first start since November.
Maiden after 30 starts but put in one of his better efforts when finishing third at Sedgefield (2m1f, good) last month. Likely to find at least one too good in this however.
Successful twice over fences since joining this yard including over 2m here last September. Well beaten under an amateur rider on his return to hurdles last time out but remains of interest on his first start of 2018.
Placed once from nine starts over hurdles and probably best watched on his first outing over hurdles since March last year.
Eight race maiden under rules but put in his best effort so far prior to unseating at Fontwell (soft) last time out. Wears a tongue tie for the first time.
Successful twice in Ireland in the autumn of 2015 and placed twice subsequently. Never involved prior to falling on debut for this yard last month.
Placed on three of his four starts for this trainer most recently when beaten 1L into second over an extended 2m at Doncaster (good-to-soft) in February. Has run well under this rider in the past.
Maiden after 13 starts and beaten 46L at Taunton (good) on his first outing since wind surgery. Others make more appeal.
