Landed a couple of Listed events last season, latterly over this trip at Newbury. Hated soft ground on his reappearance at Doncaster and should be more at home this time if the rain stays away. Stable won this last year.
Three wins in a row on the AW over the winter, but was last of 11 when last seen at Lingfield at the end of March. Missed an engagement at Chester yesterday to run in this.
Successful in a 7f conditions event at Lingfield in November and ran creditably, albeit without success, in five subsequent AW contests. Has quite a bit to find with some of these rivals back on turf.
Fine effort when defying a big weight in a competitive 7f handicap at Newmarket in the autumn and ran another excellent race on his final start of the season off a higher mark in a stronger contest at Ascot. Leading claims on seasonal reappearance.
Ran in Group company last season and could not quite match strides with the best of his rivals. Gelded afterwards, he reappeared at Chelmsford recently and was a staying-on third over 6f. Better expected back up in trip in a first-time hood.
Battle-hardened campaigner who usually runs his race, but is on a lengthy losing sequence. Good reappearance effort at Thirsk last month and is a threat to all despite his offputting win record.
