In great form last term winning four of his last five starts but paid the penalty and has struggled of his new mark this campaign. Little sign of a return form of late and has a point to prove.
Cartmel maiden hurdle winner last June but hasn't shone in handicaps since. First-time blinkers now and had a pipe opener in a bumper last week so interesting to see if there is any market support for him with yard flying at present.
Modest ex-Irish gelding whose only win to date came at Ballinrobe over 3m1f. Long odds and shown nothing in a hurdle and a novice chase in Britain and hard to see him betting involved.
Formerly trained in France by Ferdy Murphy but has dismal record of 0-62. First start for new handler who'll have to have the magic touch if he's to be persuaded to break his duck.
Fair form three season ago, but despite 26lb drop in weights has shown little since returning from two years on the sidelines. A lot more needed but wouldn't be out of it if finding a little of his old form.
Won 3m Sligo maiden hurdle in August 2016. Two poor efforts but did better when a distant runner-up at Catterick in January. Might run into a place if reproducing that level.
Going for a six-day hat-trick after bolting up at Catterick and Ayr. Has 14lb double penalty, but competent lady rider claims 7lb and if recovered from his recent exertions he will take some stopping in current form.
Won Catterick selling hurdle in December but didn't go on from that and was well beaten in slightly better race there a few weeks later. First-time visor on now and stronger jockey takes over, but stil has plenty to do from 2lb out of the weights.
5lb out of the handicap and hasn't shown very much at all in six poor efforts under Rules. Very hard to make a case for.
Has won twice here over 2m1f, but not as effective at this trip. Beaten out of sight on last three outings and first-time cheekpieces need to speak a siginifcant improvement if he's going to land a third course victory from 6lb out of the handicap.
