Half-brother to the 1m-1m3f Flat winner Hurlingham, this Sakhee's Secret gelding showed improvement on his second start in November. Switches from turf to Tapeta, and that'll provide him with further valuable experience for the longer term.
Cost £100,000 in November 2017, but weakened tamely after leading on NHF debut at Musselburgh earlier in the month (2m soft). Looks more of a longer-term prospect, but his dam was a winner of a 2m4f bumper on her sole start.
Well beaten on debut at Wetherby earlier this month, and his pedigree is more suited to Flat racing than jumping. Hard to imagine that this 25,000 gns yearling will have the required attributes today.
Cost just €1,800, and truthfully didn't appear all that flash on debut at Wetherby in December; finished a well beaten sixth of nine to Theatre Legend. Requires much more in order to figure prominently.
Half-brother to winning hurdler/chaser Thankyouverymuch. Sent off at odds of 66/1 in a Doncaster bumper in February 2017, coming home at walking pace. Returns from an absence with a tongue tie applied, and on a very different surface.
Unraced ninth foal by Fastnet Rock, and whose dam Dance Parade was a useful 5f to 1m winner. Cost 5,500 gns in April 2016, and is probably worth keeping an eye on in the market.
Half-brother to various winners in France, including Blue Ballad (1m4f Flat/2m1f hurdle). However, he was always behind, and never in the hunt at any stage on debut at Musselburgh early last month (2m good to soft).
Home-bred Sulamani gelding out of the 2m4f hurdle winner Simply Mystic. Made the frame on debut at Catterick in mid December behind the promising Return Ticket, but was beaten a total of 17L.
Not shown all that much ability in a couple of spins so far (Musselburgh and Wetherby), so needs to show improvement today. Never wise to dismiss one of this trainers runners too lightly in bumpers.
Fourth foal by Multiplex out of Chebsey Belle. Brother to the 1m4f to 1m7f Flat and 2m3f to 2m5f hurdle/chase winner Chebsey Beau. Raced keenly on debut at Kelso last month (heavy), finishing a tailed off last of seven to Shantaluze.
Cost £3,000 as a yearling, and hasn't progressed from first start to second, finishing well down the field in tough conditions on turf here in December. Tongue tied now, but hard to see how he can figure prominently.
Poet's Voice gelding who has a fair pedigree (half-brother to Sir Chauvelin), though generally more geared towards the Flat. Very green on debut at Doncaster in early December, and the stable also saddle Strathy.
Unraced second living foal by Paco Boy out of the multiple 7f AW winner La Gifted. A half-brother to Newcastle proven 1m2f winner Kerry Icon, but cost just £600 at the sales (July 2016), and is tongue-tied for debut.
