Finished a game third of seven beaten 4¼L behind the impressive Blue Empyrean at Naas last month. Can go well with a 5lb penalty.
C&D winner on his most recent start last month beating six rivals by 4L on soft to heavy. Up 7lb for his efforts but holds strong claims.
Finished 8L behind Wishmoor last month when finishing third of seven over C&D. Will look to improve for powerful connections in first-time cheekpieces.
Yet to win in seven starts but put in a decent effort when 35L fifth in a beginners contest at Thurles before a game win last time out in a Thurles handicap chase over 2m5½f. Place claims with 6lb penalty.
Bagged a deserved win last time out in a Punchestown handicap chase over 2m4f on soft to heavy. Should be able to make his presence felt off an 8lb higher mark.
Veteran who last won a chase came at Navan in March 2016 and has now slipped to 7lb below his last winning mark. Others make more appeal.
Course winner that has won over this trip well beaten last time out here in a contest he won the previous year and looks to be regressing.
