A review of the action from Saturdays meeting at York where Dramatic Queen tasted Group Three glory.
Bronte glory for Queen
William Haggas' Dramatic Queen (7/1) wore down 6/4 favourite Enbihaar to win the feature William Hill Bronte Cup Fillies' Stakes at York on Saturday.
The market leader set out to run her rivals into the ground under Adam Kirby and a furlong out only the eventual winner remained a threat.
She was to reel her rival in too, hitting the front 100 yards from the finish and going on to score by half-a-length.
Bayshore Freeway (6/1) was third, a further three lengths adrift.
She was the middle leg of a York treble or winning jockey Danny Tudhope who also struck on David O'Meara's Makawee (3/1) and War Storm (5/2), who won the two-year-old maiden for Archie Watson.
