Evan Williams considers Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham for Chepstow winner Silver Streak

Silver Streak is being considered for a tilt at next month's Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham after making a successful return to action at Chepstow on Saturday.

The four-year-old could be stepped up in class for the Grade Three prize on November 19 after forming the opening leg of a double for trainer Evan Williams at the Monmouthshire track.

He said: "That was a good performance at Chepstow and we turned the tables on a few that beat us last year. He looks like he has improved and physically he has had a good summer and came back looking a different horse.

"He looks like a progressive four-year-old and I would like to think he will tighten up for that.

"He might, with a featherweight, be a Greatwood horse or something like that, but that is talking quite high."

The Llancarfan handler has no immediate plans for Court Minstrel after he completed his brace when landing the totepool Silver Trophy for the second time having also won the race in 2015.

He said: "It is lovely when an old horse gets a win and everything fell right on the day.

"If he does nothing else in his life, he has been a very good servant. It was nice to win the Silver Trophy again as it is a lovely prize.

"We will just pick and choose our races with him. He might end up in another handicap or in a couple of conditions races."
