Sporting Life's team of tipsters were in fine form across all sports this weekend while a couple of Sky Bet customers won big on the football.
Hammer finds the Value Bet on Super Saturday
It was a case of Super Saturday and Super Sunday for our tipsters this weekend and Ben Linfoot's Value Bet column got the ball rolling with a 10/1 winner in the big race on Saturday, the July Cup.
Ben was very bullish about the chances of Ten Sovereigns in the Newmarket showpiece and he didn't disappoint, producing a dominant display to keep Value Bet supporters happy following a fantastic Royal Ascot for our racing expert.
On Saturday evening, darts tipster Chris Hammer was also celebrating after 10/1 pre-tournament selection Peter Wright triumphed in the German Masters, beating Gabriel Clemens 8-6 in the final.
Just to add icing to the cake, Clements had also been advised each-way at 80/1 to ensure Sporting Life darts readers enjoyed a German Masters to remember.
Super Sunday caps winning weekend
Sunday might well go down as one of the most remarkable days of sport in recent memory, England finally lifting the Cricket World Cup after two ties, firstly in the match proper and then in the Super Over.
In the end, only a countback on the amount of boundaries scored by each team could separate England and New Zealand and it was Eoin Morgan's side who prevailed, thanks chiefly to the herculean efforts of talisman Ben Stokes.
Stokes won the Man of the Match award after his top score of 84 not out rescued England's faltering run chase and dragged them to a tie and into the subsequent Super Over.
The rest, as they say, is history, and thankfully, our cricket guru Richard Mann got his analysis correct in his pre-match betting preview.
Richard predicted big things from the Durham star, tipping Stokes to win the Man of the Match award at 16/1 as well as to be England's top runscorer in the match at 9/1.
Meanwhile, over at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic battled past Roger Federer in the longest Wimbledon final in history to win his fifth title.
It really was a final for the ages, capping two superb weeks of tennis and some fine tipping from our tennis expert Scott Ferguson who enjoyed a profitable tournament at the All England Club.
Top tipping all round!
Football punters win big!
Darren, from Coventry, is another who enjoyed a weekend to remember when turning £1 into a whopping £1458 as his 14-team accumulator came to fruition.
It wasn't all plain sailing, though, as the Sky Bet customer had to wait until the 92nd minute for a second half goal from Arbroath.
Felix, from Kent, is another who turned a £1 stake into big money when scooping £1848 from a winning five-fold.
The Sky Bet punter needed both teams to score in the first half of five games on Friday night and wasn't disappointed, meaning his weekend was to be a very profitable one indeed.
