Free horse racing selections for Wednesday September 4

Keith Hamer is keen on the chances of Dubai Warrior at Chelmsford on Wednesday - he has a tip for every race in the UK and Ireland.

NAP: Dubai Warrior 7.15 Chelmsford

Next best: Furious 6.15 Chelmsford

Dubai Warrior can successfully take the next step in his education and stretch his 100 per cent record to three in the Irish Lotto At totesport.com Handicap at Chelmsford.

This three-year-old is a full-brother to Group Three winner Mootasadir and has done nothing wrong in both his starts to date.

A late developer, the John Gosden-trained colt won his only race as a juvenile on this course in November and landed the odds in emphatic style at Kempton on his return last month.

A rating of 98 sounds quite high as he tackles handicap company for the first time, but it may not be long before he goes on to better things.

He holds early-closing entries in two Group Ones - the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. That sounds quite ambitious at this stage, but shows how highly his connection regard him.

Furious has a fine record at the Essex course with two wins and a second from three visits and David Simcock's filly can strike again in the Totepool Cashback Club At totesport.com Handicap.

Her latest victory came just three weeks ago, when she won despite a lot going wrong over this trip of five furlongs. She was still able to strike despite being slowly away and squeezed for room at a crucial stage.

Hopefully she will have a less troubled passage this time in her bid to back that up.

Maktabba was thoroughly disappointing on her handicap debut but should be given another chance at Bath.

She looked reasonably treated on a starting mark of 74 at Leicester last month but beat only one runner home and has subsequently been dropped a couple of pounds by the handicapper.

She had previously shaped well in winning her maiden and quicker ground in the Doubletree By Hilton EBF Fillies' Handicap looks likely to help her chances.

Amorously looks set to double up from her Chepstow success in the Bristol Water Fillies' Handicap.

This trip of a mile suited the daughter of Australia down to the ground when she took it up over a furlong out and stuck on well to hold Madeleine Bond by three-quarters of a length.

A rise of 3lb is fair as the Richard Hannon-trained filly heads to the Somerset track.

Miss Tynte can defy a 7lb penalty for a recent Worcester victory in the Mint People Handicap Hurdle at Uttoxeter.

The David Pipe-trained seven-year-old showed the benefit of a wind operation when going in by 14 lengths and will be hard to beat if in the same form.

Western Miller has put a disappointing first half of 2019 behind him to return to form of late and he can bring up a hat-trick in the Robin And Suzy Celebration Handicap Chase for Charlie Longsdon.

He is up another 9lb for his 13-length win at Southwell in June but he was worth all of that and deserves this rise in grade.
