DOUBLE: Tadaawol and Neon Sea.

Roger Fell is clearly keen to win the AGMA Stablemate Carlisle Bell, and Tadaawol is taken to emerge best of his three runners in the feature at the Cumbrian track.

The six-year-old arrives for Wednesday's mile showpiece in winning form, having triumphed over this very course and distance last time out.

While the ground was on the quick side that day, there was much to like about Tadaawol's gutsy success in the hands of 5lb claimer Ben Sanderson, with Fell's runner eventually emerging a three-quarter-length victor.

He has been hiked 2lb for that win, but Sanderson's presence in the saddle helps offset that - and given Tadaawol has winning form on a range of surfaces, he should give a good account however the weather pans out.

Ventura Gold lines up in the consolation race for the Bell, and he should not be discounted.

He has been pretty consistent this season. But 10 furlongs at Beverley appeared to be at the very edge of his stamina, and a drop in trip should help his cause here.

Volcanic Sky can make the trip from Newmarket pay by winning the Cumberland Plate Handicap for Saeed bin Suroor.

This four-year-old has had just one run so far this term, finishing fourth on the Kempton all-weather earlier this month.

That was also his first start since being gelded, so you would expect the son of Street Cry to make some progress for the outing - and he may now start to live up to his early promise.

Neon Sea is another Newmarket runner to head north, for the British Stallion Studs EBF Eternal Stakes.

She has been a short-priced winner of her last two starts for Sir Michael Stoute, taking a Goodwood novice before following up as an odds-on shot in a handicap at Chelmsford.

The daughter of Siyouni appears to thrive on racing from the front - and although that may not be quite so easy in a field of 12, Stoute is obviously a master of his profession and thinks she is worth a pop at Listed level here.

Apparate is one to follow in the Whitsbury Manor Stud Bibury Cup Handicap at Salisbury.

He opened his account at the third attempt in a Newmarket maiden last time, looking as though a longer trip than the 10 furlongs he faced that day could suit.

Roger Varian changes up to a mile and a half here, with a mark of 83 giving Apparate something to work with.

Power Of Darkness is one that should benefit from switching back in distance, in the one-mile Molson Coors Handicap.

He did not settle all that well over 10 furlongs at Newmarket last time, but he was beaten only four and a half lengths in second and still has plenty of potential.

Power Of Darkness could kick off a good day for Marcus Tregoning - who also has a live hope at Bath with Freckles, in the Selwood Pump Solutions Supporting WaterAid Handicap.

Let Rip can make a winning reappearance in the 32Red Handicap at Kempton.
