Areen Heart has been knocking on the door all winter, and can finally get his head in front in the sunracing.co.uk Handicap at Wolverhampton.

The five-year-old was victorious at a lesser level back in September - and while he has yet to make his mark in this standard, he has certainly not been far away, finishing in the first three seven times in eight runs.

Beaten a length and three-quarters in third at Newcastle at the end of January, he has been left on a mark of 89 - which appears competitive enough.

He took a keen hold that day at Gosforth Park - and if he can employ a little more restraint here, Areen Heart could return to winning ways for David O'Meara.

Sheberghan can build on a decent start for Archie Watson in the Betway Casino Handicap.

Winner of one of his three starts for Dermot Weld in 2018, Sheberghan was snapped up for 45,000 euros at the end of last year and looks likely to pay back a good chunk of that judged on his initial British effort.

Returning from 210 days off the track, Sheberghan just tired a bit in the closing stages over 10 furlongs at Lingfield last month but looked as though the outing would do him the world of good.

True Destiny is an intriguing proposition as he has his first start following a wind operation in the Betway Heed Your Hunch Handicap.

Twice a winner in 2018, he has been off the track since finishing a disappointing sixth when sent off a short-priced favourite at Chelmsford back in November.

He dropped away tamely that day, and the run perhaps explains why connections have opted for wind surgery in the interim.

Technological was perhaps unfortunate to bump into the well-named Fearsome on his most recent outing, but compensation awaits in the Matchbook Casino Handicap at Kempton.

The winner was on a hat-trick that day when dishing out a five-length beating and has won again since, suggesting Technological certainly performed up to par in the runner-up spot.

Having also finished fourth in what was a pretty tasty event the time before, Technological would only really have to repeat that kind of form to be taking a hand off an unchanged mark of 84.

Roman Spinner should be on the premises again in the Matchbook Betting Podcast Handicap.

She was just found out for a turn of foot on her most recent outing at this track, but she is a largely consistent performer and must be one for the short list again.

Effet Special is an interesting newcomer for Lucinda Russell in the Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide Chase at Ayr.

The five-year-old was a winner over fences in France last year and certainly has a decent amount of experience in the bank.

Miranda is the pick in the R.M. Agricultural Engineering Ltd Fillies' Juvenile Hurdle at Ludlow as she makes her British debut for Paul Nicholls.

Twice a winner on the Flat in France, she cost 47,000 euros back in November and can make a perfect start here.

Sporting Life tips:

AYR: 1.30 Magic Of Milan, 2.00 Galvin, 2.35 Glittering Love, 3.05 Camile, 3.35 Effet Special, 4.10 Left Back, 4.40 Arion Sky.

KEMPTON: 1.50 Sir Ox, 2.20 Tavus, 2.50 Lulu Star, 3.25 Technological, 4.00 Roman Spinner, 4.30 Casa Comigo.

LUDLOW: 1.40 Chambard, 2.10 Style De Garde, 2.45 Bonza Girl, 3.15 Tommy Silver, 3.45 Miranda, 4.20 Road To Rome, 4.50 Est Illic.

WOLVERHAMPTON: 5.10 Madame Vitesse, 5.45 Phoenix Star, 6.15 True Destiny, 6.45 AREEN HEART (NAP), 7.15 Sea Shack, 7.45 Sheberghan, 8.15 Royal Mezhan.

DOUBLE: Areen Heart and Miranda.
