John Gosden and Kieran Shoemark look set for a decent day at Kempton, because both Good Tidings and Book Review can strike gold.

Good Tidings lines up in the feature Matchbook London Middle Distance Series Final Handicap, and it is worth keeping the faith despite his defeat as a short-priced favourite last time.

The three-year-old had won two of his three novice outings before switching to handicap company off a mark of 86, over the same 11 furlongs he faces here.

His relative inexperience probably just caught him out a bit that day - because when he was asked to make his challenge, the response was not instant. That proved the difference, because he was beaten only a neck.

The handicapper has seen fit to raise him 2lb for that defeat, but Good Tidings remains unexposed and should continue to improve with every outing.

Book Review can ensure trainer and jockey go home with a double, because he is the pick in the British EBF Matchbook Future Stayers Novice Stakes.

The Dubawi colt, out of a mare who won at Listed level in France and in Graded company in America, began his career with a fine runner-up performance at Nottingham this month - on heavy ground which was far from sure to suit ideally.

Book Review dwelt before finishing strongly behind a more experienced winner, so can be expected to have learned plenty from his first start.

Montatham enjoyed success in novice company but has yet to hit the mark at handicap level.

William Haggas switches him to the all-weather for the Matchbook Betting Podcast Handicap, after what was a pretty good run at Musselburgh before the close of the turf season.

Montatham was back to seven furlongs for that event and just found himself struggling for a bit of room coming to the business end of the race.

Blown By Wind was a convincing winner, but there were redeeming features of Montatham's effort - and moving back up to a mile here should surely be a positive.

She's A Unicorn acquires the assistance of Richard Kingscote for her return to the all-weather in the Bet toteexacta At totesport.com Nursery Handicap at Chelmsford.

Tom Dascombe's Garswood filly has unsurprisingly shown a liking for cut in the ground during her continued autumn improvement for a variety of good claiming riders, with two victories and a close second in her last three attempts.

She should excel again off her mark, up to 10 furlongs for the first time.

Bavardages brought up Mark Johnston's record-breaking 236th winner in Britain this year, and can add to that tally again in the Bet totequadpot At totesport.com Nursery Handicap.

He triumphed in fine style last time, and a 3lb rise should not be insurmountable now he is in the winning groove.

Clondaw Anchor's form got a boost recently and he could be a popular choice in the Antonia Gallop Intermediate Handicap Chase at Lingfield. He was beaten seven lengths by Diablo De Rouhet on his seasonal return over fences, coming back from a 225-day absence in the process.

Diablo De Rouhet has since won a Pertemps qualifier at Newbury to give the form a very solid look indeed and Clondaw Anchor has proved capable enough off a perch of 127 in the past.

Imperial Aura can start his career over fences with a win in the Weatherbys Racing Bank Beginners' Chase at Fakenham. Kim Bailey's charge was a bumper scorer in 2018, before adding two hurdles successes to his tally last term.

The second of those wins came in February and he was then off the track until reappearing at Chepstow in a Grade Three heat last month.

The six-year-old looked in need of the outing when finishing a four-length third and that run should have put him straight for this initial assignment over fences.
