Eternalist won with plenty in hand on her latest visit to Musselburgh and can follow up on her return to the Scottish track.

Jim Goldie's mare has been running consistently well throughout the summer, so it was no great surprise to see her make the most of what looked an excellent opportunity at this venue three weeks ago.

That said, it was still hard not to be impressed by the manner of her success and what was noticeable was how much more tractable she was than in her recent races.

Her previous attitude of refusing to settle has sometimes proved costly late in her races, whereas she settled much better on her latest appearance and was therefore able to show off a smart turn of foot at the business end of proceedings.

The handicapper has handed her a 5lb hike, but if she is in a similarly co-operative mood she should prove hard to beat in the Racing Ticket Giveaways At @188Bet Handicap.

Jacob Black is fancied to continue his excellent campaign with another victory in the Read Silvestre De Sousa At 188Bet Handicap.

Like several who have gone before, this seven-year-old appears to have been reinvigorated since joining Keith Dalgleish, rising the best part of two-stone in the ratings having won four of his seven starts this season.

Three of those victories have come at Musselburgh and while the assessor is bound to catch up with him eventually, the manner of his latest success at Hamilton just a few days ago suggested his winning spree may not be over just yet.

Because that verdict was in an apprentice race, he makes a swift reappearance unpenalised and it is very difficult to look beyond him in what does not look a strong race.

Louis Treize rates the best bet of the afternoon at Newcastle.

Richard Spencer's juvenile displayed plenty of raw pace on his Doncaster debut less than a fortnight ago before being mowed down by the more experienced Hafeet Alain.

Louis Treize was comfortably best of the rest and with that run under his belt, he looks to have outstanding claims in the Welcome To The World Harvey Nicholas Dance Novice Stakes, assuming he proves as effective on the all-weather.

Zip Along can supplement a recent Doncaster success in the Smarkets Handicap at Nottingham.

The daughter of Iffraaj finished runner-up on her two-year-old debut at Beverley last August before placing fifth in a decent race at Newcastle the following month.

She opened her account on her belated reappearance on Town Moor recently and considering she still showed signs of her inexperience, further improvement is anticipated.

Zip Along enters the handicap arena off a mark of 77 and that could look generous come Tuesday night.

Anchises looks banker material in the European Breeders Fund Maiden Stakes at Ffos Las.

Richard Hannon's charge was third behind the 90-rated Red Starlight on his introductory run at Newmarket and the form looks red-hot, with the runner-up Auxerre having since bolted up at Haydock.

Zip Along could well do something similar in what looks an ordinary heat in Wales.
