Free horse racing selections for Thursday June 14

Anita Chambers makes Sea Of Class her best bet at Newbury on Thursday and she has a tip for every race in the UK and Ireland.

William Haggas' patient approach with Sea Of Class can continue to pay dividends in the Johnnie Lewis Memorial British EBF Stakes at Newbury.

The Newmarket handler could so easily have thrust this impeccably-bred daughter of Sea The Stars into the Classic maelstrom at Epsom earlier in the month, but instead opted to take a long-term approach with what appears to be a very promising filly indeed.

She will be having just her third start, having been narrowly edged out on her Newmarket maiden bow in April before opening her account in another Listed heat at this track last month.

Sea Of Class impressed with a two-length victory that day, coming from last to first off a bit of a muddling pace, before passing the post with plenty seemingly in hand.

She must shoulder a 3lb penalty for that win as she lines up over the same 10 furlongs, but her Group One entries in the near future demonstrate the regard in which she is held and it will be disappointing if she cannot hit the mark again before switching up in class.

Glencadam Master can defy top weight in the Burlington Palm Hotel Of Great Yarmouth Handicap at the seaside venue.

He certainly would not be one of John Gosden's stable stars, but he showed some decent form as a juvenile, although he has yet to really build on that this term.

His recent second in first-time blinkers showed little promise, though, and if he can take a more restrained approach through the early stages, he might have enough in reserve to fend off his rivals.

David O'Meara could be in for a fruitful day with both Muscika and Escobar holding live chances.

Muscika goes in the Enhanced World Cup Specials At 188Bet Handicap at Yarmouth having opened his account for the season at Ayr last Monday.

He must carry a 6lb penalty for that win here, but following his reassessment by the handicapper, that still puts him 3lb well in so it is easy to see why O'Meara has opted for a swift return.

Escobar's claims in the Develop Ineo Print Copy Scan Store Handicap at Haydock may not be quite so clear-cut, but it is interesting that this gelding bypassed an Irish Group Three option to run here.

Previously trained by Hugo Palmer, Escobar was a Listed winner as a juvenile and while not disgraced in some classy events as a three-year-old, he was clearly below Pattern level and was duly shipped out of the yard.

Escobar was not a cheap purchase at 100,000 guineas last autumn, but his recent third at Doncaster showed he might be getting back on track now and a mark of 95 puts him 11lb below his highest, which makes him a tempting proposition.

Entered in a couple of big handicaps at Royal Ascot next week, victory would enhance his chances of making the cut.
