Theflyingportrait can jump into the picture at Perth by taking the feature Sunsport Handicap Chase.

Jennie Candlish's 10-year-old is the clear top weight on Sunday, because of his good efforts in decent races, and this contest represents a slightly easier task than he has had of late.

Theflyingportrait might have been out of his depth at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals in the spring, on ground that may have been too soft for him, but there were signs on his latest start that he was coming back to form.

He has been dropped a total of 12lb since the Cheltenham Festival, with the latest reduction being 2lb for finishing runner-up to Ashoka at Aintree.

Theflyingportrait is now 3lb lower than his last win at Wetherby in November, and he can take advantage of what looks an attractive mark.

Always Tipsy can be the toast of punters by repeating a recent success over this three miles, in the Lodge At Perth Racecourse Handicap Hurdle.

The 10-year-old made all the running to take revenge on Darling Miss from his previous outing and strike for the first time since joining the Nick Alexander stable.

On that evidence, there could be more to come.

Amalfi Doug has fine prospects of extending his winning streak since moving to Keith Dalgleish's stable when switching to the bigger obstacles for the Scottish Sun On Sunday Novices' Handicap Chase.

The nine-year-old's two victories for the Carluke trainer have come over hurdles, at two and a half miles on this course.

Dalgleish must feel the time is right to try fences, and it is not as though Amalfi Doug has had no experience because he has had three goes and also won an Irish point-to-point in April.

Bialco struck over two and a half miles on this course five weeks ago, and looks a good bet to repeat the trick in the Scottish Sun Novices' Hurdle.

Mystic Sky can put her supporters on cloud nine with victory in the Happy Birthday George Wood Handicap Hurdle at Stratford.

Lucy Wadham's eight-year-old won over two miles at Warwick in May but got found out over a slightly longer trip at Cartmel on rain-softened ground when she weakened into fourth place behind Wells De Lune. She also lost a shoe in that race.

Mystic Sky will be much more at home here and is worth another chance.

What A Laugh may give racegoers reason to smile by ending a spell of seconditis and going one better in the Technicair Air Conditioning Handicap Chase.

Gary Hanmer's veteran has shown he is no back number with runner-up places on his last two starts, having filled the same spot a couple of outings previously.

What A Laugh is obviously in good form and can get his head in front for the first time since taking this prize 12 months ago.

War Eagle shaped well when third on his jumps debut at Aintree a month ago, and can put that effort to good use by getting off the mark in the Shakespeare Media Juvenile Hurdle for the Ian Williams stable.
