Free horse racing selections for Sunday September 16

Nick Robson's best bet for Sunday runs at Bath and he has a tip for every race in the UK and Ireland.

NAP: 320 Bath

Next best: 430 Bath

Red Alert can defy top-weight in the 188Bet Mobile Bet10 Get20 Summer Sprint Series Final Handicap at Bath.

The four-year-old booked his place in final with a win over this course and distance just 11 days ago and will need to cope with a 5lb higher mark.

There is a chance, though, that Tony Carroll's charge could outclass the opposition.

Despite drifting markedly to his left last time out, he showed a smart turn of foot to come from the rear and win going away in some style.

That may have only been a class five contest and this a class two, but you will struggle to find a weaker race with £20,000 up for grabs.

High Wells returns to the Flat following a recent hurdling second in the 188Bet Casino Handicap, which is the final event in the summer stayers' series.

He appeared to enjoy the step up to a mile and six furlongs when booking his place in this race with a comfortable success on similarly firm ground back in July.

Owen Burrows' horses are starting to hit a bit of form again and Bawaasil can give the trainer another winner in the Biodivide Stem Cell Technology Novice Stakes.

He was last seen when finishing second at Doncaster in July and now the yard is back on the up, he can finally shed his maiden tag.

Altra Vita boasts an enviable record with four wins in five starts this term and must hold every chance again in the Sir Gordon Richards Handicap (Sponsored By Oakgrove Stud) at Ffos Las.

She racked up three wins on the bounce in June and July, but had to settle for third when upped slightly in company and tackling two miles for the first time at Beverley in mid-July.

That was a lacklustre effort by her standards and perhaps she was just feeling the effects of a busy period, as given a break, she bounced right back to form at the start of this month when winning at this track.

Sir Mark Prescott clearly thinks she is worth another try over two miles and if she can employ her usual front-running tactics, she might be hard to pass this time.

Irish Champions Weekend continues at the Curragh where Dermot Weld's Eziyra rates a good bet in the Moyglare "Jewels" Blandford Stakes.

Weld has won three of the last four renewals of this Group Two and based on her run in the Yorkshire Oaks last time he has another likely candidate.

She briefly hit the front before being swamped by Sea Of Class and fading into third. This drop in trip and class should see her return to winning ways.

Hit The Bid made a pleasing return to action after his spell in Dubai and that should have put him spot on for the Derrinstown Stud Flying Five.

Darren Bunyan's stable star is blessed with natural speed and as long as the ground does not go soft he should be bang there.

Anthony Van Dyck was a bit lacklustre when winning last time out so over seven furlongs Charlie Appleby's Quorto may have too much speed for him in the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes.
